Tips for helping your child to be successful with their classes:
1.Talk with your child about their concerns. Try to help them understand where they are having difficulty. Do they need help with organizational skills or is the content of the class difficult. Having a conversation with your child will help you to pinpoint the problem and seek appropriate help.
2. Encourage your child to use their planner to help them become and stay orgainized.
3. Use Power School to keep track of your child's performance and encourage them to attend tutoring after school as needed.
4. Help your child develop a daily routine for completing any homework assignments. It might also be helpful to encourage them to find an area in the house that they can use to do their homework.
5. Contact your child's teacher or counselor with any questions. They are great resources.
